Living in Delray Beach

A walkable downtown near the beach

Delray Beach has a busy downtown along Atlantic Avenue that runs to a public beach, with older cottages, newer townhomes and golf communities to the west.

Atlantic Avenue is where people walk to dinner and then to the beach, and Pineapple Grove and the Arts Garage add galleries and music. The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens are a quieter escape west of town.

Good to know: Some developments have 55+ occupancy requirements; confirm the individual community's rules.

What this page covers: Numbers and listings cover homes with a Delray Beach address in the MLS, which includes unincorporated communities west of the city.
